Place details
The Roman baths - the vestiges of the rich past of the city of Varna, are located in the city center, near the port, within the "Grec Quarter".
We divide them into 2: "small" and "big". Both are located in the city center.
These Roman baths were built about 570 years BC. The Thermes here in Varna were the largest in size of all the Balkans - 7,000 m2 on the surface. It was a place of rest and of life, and a sharing.
Even today, the vestiges are impressive by the extent of their surface. And by their height.
During the summer, here are organized concerts or different shows.
Finally, in the summer time, the Thermal Baths become again a place of sharing.
