Place details

The Blue Grotto is one of Malta's most popular attractions.

It should not be forgotten that Malta is a small island in the open sea.

And like any island, there are many caves here that can be observed.

What makes the Blue Cave unique are all the shades of blue of the sea that can be seen here.

The sunlight, rocks and underwater flora make a common game.

They bring out the blue color ranging from the darkest to the most phosphorescent.

The Blue Grotto is to the south of the small town of Qrendi.

Several boats and boats offer excursions to get you there.

BEACHES AND BAYS

Malta has many beaches and bays.

There's something for everyone - more windy places, quieter places, just places to swim, beaches for relaxing.

Some cities are known for:

- their wide bays such as the cities of the Bay of St Paul,

- or their turquoise waters as the Blue Lagoon on the island of Comino where you can do schnorkeling

- or because you can just soak up like Balluta Bay in full St Julian's.
